I love, love, love cucumbers. They taste awesome with a little bit of salt and they make a great addition to any salad. Not to mention the very reason God created cucumbers – to use as eye pads to get rid of dark circles and to treat skin. (What? No?)
I worked as a server at a restaurant for a little bit. Once, a customer asked for a glass of water with a slice of cucumber. I would have asked her if she meant lemon, but I was afraid it would have been bad customer service. I did bring her a glass with a slice of cucumber , truly hoping it was what she wanted. And it was. I decided to try this new thing, just so I could later tell everybody about this weird customer and her interesting water garnish. I poured myself a glass of water and just dropped a slice in there.
It. Was. Life. Changing.
So … refreshing… clean! I’m a firm believer now. Forget lemon water.

Cucumber water is definitely one of my faves! It makes for a super refreshing drink on hot summer days. I love to make homemade pickles with cucumbers. I slice them super thin and let them sit in vinegar for a bit. They aren’t as salty as normal pickles, which is why I like them. Also, in honor of the royal wedding coming up, I am definitely a fan of cucumber sandwiches

Mmmm I love cucumbers too!!! The water is amazing….at this one spa I sent to they made it. WAAAy better then lemon!
