My hubby turned 30 yesterday. I’m not sure how he is handling it, since he is gone on a business trip. He says he’s been busy with meetings all day, but he could be drowning his sorrows in champaign for all I know… Wait! He is a boy. Never mind.
Anywho… I bought him something totally awesome! And totally Greg. (Not going to say what I got, he might read this post in between shots meetings.) I hate spending money on wrapping paper so I had to come up with something creative. I decided to use old magazine pages, and here is what the product looks like.
I ripped out a bunch of pages and used little scraps on boxes. I also used those pages to make bows.
I tried to find pages with images that contain things Greg loves.
If you know my hubby, you know he likes himself some rum.
He is all about surfing…
And what guy doesn’t like hot legs:)?
This is so much more special, than store – bought wrapping paper. It’s much cheaper and oh-so green!
What do you think?

You have WAY too much time on your hands girl! But it looks great!
Victoria, this took me about 20 minutes to make.
I don’t have enough free time for all the fun things I have in mind.
Totally Greg!
I know, right? What’s inside is so him too!
Great idea! Wrapping paper is such a waste – this is a creative and green alternative.
Thank you, Melissa.
Did you tape the collage together before wrapping the gifts or did you decorate the boxes with individual pieces?
I just took individual pieces and taped them to the box in a very disorganized manner:) Making the collage seems like a smarter idea. I will try it next time. THanks, Laura.

I love how u did that. Im thinking about starting my own wrapping buisness because i love wrapping gifts. What u did im going to try to see how people like it. How did u make the bows stand up like that
I didn’t really do anything special. I just taped them at both ends and they stand up all by themselves:)
