Our huge, comfy, delicious, and absolutely snugly cloud of a bed, aka favorite place on Earth, has never had a headboard.
Poor little thing!
When the bed was next to the wall the absence of a headboard was like a sore in my eyes. It’s been a bit better since we moved it to the window. The itch to have a headboard is still there. It’s officially one of my DIY projects for the summer. No surprise here, I’m puzzled as to what direction I want to go. For a while I was set on a padded headboard.
I wanted to either have a neutral color headboard with colorful bedding…
I also love the idea of a very colorful headboard with white bedding.
I’m still considering these options even though my view of the whole wide world changed when I saw this…

What am I to do with all of these options, people??? I want them all and now… Maybe we should buy a bigger house and all my problems will be solved… Oh wait… will they?

PS: I love that I can ask for your opinions on here and hear suggestions… Makes it easier to at least scratch off a few options from my brain. Muchicimas gracias, a todos. (yes, I learn a few things from my ESL students:))
I wouldn’t do anything too high because of the window. But the wooden one with “Love” on it is soooo a-MA-zing.
I agree with Casi given your current location of the bed. Otherwise I would also suggest a reclaimed wooden door…I’ve seen it done on HGTV a few times and LOVED it!
Yes, definitely not something too high. Even though I’m thinking about moving the bed to its original spot by the wall… I don’t know yet!

Dana is ridiculous for that headboard, gorgeous! I have a light turquoise tufted headboard in my bedroom and I feel trapped in terms of redecorating possibilities. Go neutral. You can always change your quilts and room paint. I have serious buyers remorse. I wish I went with a neutral.
