I know many of you are already on Pinterest, but if you are not… well, let’s just say your life isn’t quite complete.
I’ve always wanted to start an idea file for my home, style, life in general. I never got around to it… And then Pinterest happened. A virtual pinboard is so much more handy than a bulky idea file on your shelf. No need to cut things out of magazines and put them in the file…
I just recently started and already am hooked on it.

You can categorize your pins into different boards and you can have as many virtual boards as you want.
You can repin you friends’ ideas, comment, follow your friends, and get inspired and organized.
I think you will love it if you started. Go to pinterest.com and request an invite. You might have to wait a couple of days to receive an invitation, but it’s so worth it. Then just follow the directions on how to install the Pin It button on your toolbar and you are good to go.
PS: There is even an iPhone app for this site.
PPPS: Can’t wait to pin with you

Lena, this is just awesome. I went to the site, and hopefully I’ll get an invitation soon. Can’t wait to try this out.
Thanks so very much! and I LOVE your blog…..read it faithfully and am getting alot out of it!
Barb, THANK YOU for reading the blog! I really appreciate you!
If anybody has trouble getting an invitation, let me know… There has been talk that you can only get an invite from somebody on the inside… I didn’t have an insider friend and still my request was granted. If you don’t hear from them, shoot me a message with your email and I will invite you!

I have been SOO curious about Pinterest! I think I just may try it out now… Thanks for the info!
P.S. Why do we have to confirm that we wish to subscribe to follow-up comments?
Sarah, it won’t let you post a comment if you don’t confirm? I thought you could choose… Let me see if I can change that.

Nah, I can post without confirmation, but sometimes I like to read your follow-up comments and it emails me to confirm that that’s really what I wanted to do. No biggie, just wondering if it’s a must!
Um, yeah. Finally signed up yesterday, and I am completely obsessed. Seriously. There needs to be a 12 step program for this. I’m blocked from the site @ work, but I’m going to follow your boards! YAY!
Yay! we’ll be pinterest buddies!
I know… it’s very-very addicting. And I can’t get away from it even when I’m away from my computer because it’s on my phone with me… always… I’m in trouble!

Thanks for this post!!! I’d been hearing a lot about Pinterest lately, different friends & sites etc. etc. but was a little intimidated to try when I had to send away for an invite. You made it seem a little less scary! I’ve requested an invitation, hopefully I’ll hear back soon!
