If you are an avid reader with no desire to spend too much money on new books and no room left to store your old ones, this post is for you.

I was introduced to Paperback Swap a few months ago and all the problems above have been solved. Whoever came up with the idea of the site was a genius. A generous genius too, as the membership costs exactly 0 dollars, 0 cents.
So here is a reader’s BFF in a nutshell.
Paperback Swap is basically a book club/social network that helps you swap, trade and exchange books for free. It’s an easy concept: sign up and list books you’d like to swap with other club members. If you put 10 books on your virtual bookshelf to begin with, you get 2 credits to your name.
Once one of your books is requested, mail it to the club member (you have to pay for mailing!). When your book is received, you get another credit. In return, you may choose from over 5 million available books (regular books cost 1 credit, audio – 2 credits). Books you request are mailed to you for free.
This is a very organized website: it notifies you of any activity, lets you create a wish list, reminds you to mail books, lets you print the mailing label, and even tells you how much it’s going to cost to mail.
And just like any other social network, you can make friends
.
My wish list (books that I can’t yet request, because they are not listed!)
So, if you sign up and have any of the books above, please list them so I can request them from you. K, thanks!

Excellent idea! But i think mailing to Russia is too expensive
One question. Will you get your books back or it’s irreversible exchange?
Yeah, I’m not sure what the policy is with mailing overseas. Probably expensive.
You pretty much have to get ready to say Good buy to your books. So I usually register books that I don’t need any more.
