I’m traveling again this week.

Don’t look so surprised.

Because I got home late Friday, worked Saturday and then raced frantically around Sunday to get ready to leave again on Monday, I didn’t get to finish the oh-so-special project I’m in the middle of… which was definitely a bummer.

On the up side, I did however, make the time to drive 1 1/2 hours round trip to pick up my new toy.

We got it home last night, (after narrowly escaping death…. car accident almost happened… but it didn’t!) and J and I could not stop playing with the new toy.

I snapped pics of: the basement, the kitchen, J studying in the basement, J studying in the kitchen, J studying in the living room… you get the idea.

It was late, dark and rainy so I didn’t take it outside but I did hold it up to every lit surface in our house to get the digital light reading… It was fun. And nerdy.

Anyway, I can’t wait to learn everything I can about this camera and how to use it!

Is it weird that I’m on the road working and all I can think about is the camera…. sitting at home… all lonely and wanting attention??

So there it is. The highlight of my weekend. And my week. And my month. And… well, you get the point.
