I’m in a hair rut.
A big one.
Not a big-hair rut, like you would expect of me, you know since I’m from Texas. Just a big.. hair rut.
As in I never do anything except blow dry my hair and pin up my bangs. Or leave my hair wavy… but only if I’m feeling edgy.
See… I’m in a creative drought. I need help. I need Jennifer Aniston’s stylist. He’s not available? Okay, then I’ll make do with Carrie Underwood’s. Oh, she’s not either?? Well then… Pinterest it is.
Oh, Pinterest doesn’t have any cute hair ideas that I can actually do that don’t take an hour and a million pounds of hairspray?
Sheesh. Can’t a girl get a little bit of help around here?
Do you understand where I’m coming from? Are you in a rut with your mane too?
I have two words for you: Hair Romance.
This is the woman behind the hair… She’s Australian which makes her amazingly cool… and her step by step instructions make these SUPER easy… Oh, and did I mention she gives great hair advice too??

I stumbled upon this blog this weekend… I’ve seen the light. The hair light that is.
She has an e-book that’s titled “30 Hairstyles in 30 Days”. Check it out here. I promise you won’t regret it. And maybe, just maybe… YOU might find a hair-do to put a little pep in your step.

Bottom middle… That’s what I want to try first. I’m a sucker for braids.
P.S. She has no clue who I am. We are not friends and she doesn’t even know that I exist. This is not a paid endorsement. I just love her sight so much I had to share it with you, my friends.

Sometimes I miss having long hair… but realistically, I just can’t do it. I damage it waaaaay too much with my constant bleaching and changing colours. Personally, I love having short hair (despite my previous comment
) because I can change it so often – lately I’ve been a fan of small random shaved patches along the sides or at the back, and it’s always grown in enough by my next hair cut I can switch it up. I know that’s not exactly everyone’s cup of tea… but it works for me!
