A Must Make Recipe for Christmas

I’m in Texas right now. I know you know that. I just feel that I need to explain why I’m M.I.A. during the BEST TIME OF THE YEAR!

It’s not because I don’t love you. Really!

It’s because I tried to cram 10 days worth of clothes, gifts and must-haves in a carry-on so that I wouldn’t have to pay a bag fee… which means I only packed 4 outfits… which means I didn’t bring my laptop… It also means that I didn’t bring serious essentials, like lotion, because I couldn’t get them through security… but guess what??? Spirit Airlines charges for carry-ons.

You heard me. $40 a bag to carry on! I was livid to say the least but I’m over…

Seriously, over it. You won’t hear another peep about how much of a rip off it was. Or how they didn’t even warn us. Or how I could’ve brought my favorite pair of heels if I would have only known.

But I’m over it. Clearly.

As shocked as you may be, I’m not writing today to talk about my terrible flight experience… I am writing to share an idea with you from my fave girl Ree a.k.a. The Pioneer Woman.

If you’re a regular here, you know how much I ADORE brussel sprouts. Ree posted a recipe today for Brussel Sprouts with Balsamic and Cranberries.

Add this to your Christmas menu today..

Off to stew some more about the $180 in bag fees for CARRY-ONS!!!!

Merry Christmas.
