As I was sitting at the table this morning, reading and eating breakfast, I started thinking about… well, me… and what a total dork-wad I am.
Do you ever do this?
The past week I’ve felt like my brain has been on utter overload and I have been reverting back into my clutzy, nerdy, act without thinking natural state…
1. I spent 10 minutes at the grocery store trying to pick out a diary-free/gluten-free frozen pizza. Finally finding the perfect one and tossing it in the cart. Only to get home an hour later, unwrap it and realize that I had NOT chosen a gluten-free/dairy-free pizza, but had in fact picked an extra cheesy whole wheat pizza… the complete opposite of what I was going for. I promptly returned to the store for another pizza.
Do you ever have these brain spasms?
BTW.. this pizza was the bomb. Just sayin’.
2. While at the grocery store (the second time), I found this lovely little bottle of fun nail polish… Minted by Revlon. While the pizza (see above) was cooking in the oven, I decided to try out my new color. After 3 coats I decided that the paint job was sufficient enough for a coat of Seche Vite. I had brought my fave top coat to a friends house a couple of weeks back, so I knew it was still lurking in my purse. In the absolute bliss of loving my new springy color, I was so excited to finish my manicure that I plunged my hand deep down into the depths of my purse, snagged the top coat and… came back out with ALL of my nails looking funktified. That’s right… I had just undone all of my manicured nails in a swift 10 seconds…. You do this too, right??
3. Last night I was doing my nightly routine… you know face washing, tooth brushing and hand lotioning. I was smack dab in the middle of brushing my teeth, thinking about the week ahead and how I was going to get everything that needs to be done checked off my list when I glanced in the mirror and noticed something out of the ordinary. Something out of the ordinary that caught my attention…. the toothbrush that I was so adamantly scrubbing my pearly whites with was not my usual purple…. it was in fact green. Green…. the color of J’s toothbrush. Not mine. Insert instant gagging.
Friends, please… tell me the truth. Does this happen to you?
